Product Summary

The MON2500 Radiation Area Monitor system is the latest offering in our large line of radiological detection systems. Using our patented Quadratic Compression (QCC) and time-slicing and pattern-recognition techniques, it can detect threats in as little as one second and provide accurate isotope identification in only a few seconds more.

Designed from the ground up with networking in mind, the system can transmit reports directly to a file server and even send them directly to first responders or Reachback agencies. There is no upper limit on the number of units that can be installed on a single network.

A NEMA 4X enclosure allows operation in wet outdoor environments. Upon power-up, the unit goes through a quick self-test and immediately begins monitoring; even after a lengthy power-down, temperature stabilization guarantees accurate identification results in less than one minute.
