Multichannel Analyzers
Princeton Gamma Tech offers a large selection of gamma and x-ray spectrometers, multichannel analyzers and spectroscopy software to fit your laboratory’s needs. PGT has a products for uses in areas ranging from routine high throughput sample analysis to elaborate research and experimental applications.
The MCA 4000 and MCA 8000 series of multichannel analyzers are available for processing of amplified signals from NIM or other types of counting electronics. For complete spectrometer packages, the System 4000 and System 8000 packages are available for use with HPGe, Si(Li), and NaI detectors and they eliminate the need for NIM electronics. The MCA 2100R is a sodium iodide only spectrometer package that uses both linear and patented Quadratic Conversion Compression techniques offering the best energy resolution and fastest peak identification available in the business.
All PGT electronics systems are supplied with basic operating software. QuantumMCA allows users to perform all analog and digital hardware settings, as well as start and stop acquisition and spectrum archiving. The basic package also includes qualitative analysis, peak ID and acquisition automation.
