Princeton Gamma-Tech Instruments, Inc. is pleased to announce
the acquisition of the assets of Princeton Gamma-Tech, Inc.,
located in Rocky Hill, NJ. The purchase was completed on Friday,
February 18, 2005. Princeton Gamma-Tech Instruments, Inc. is
wholly owned by an investment group led by Finn Partners, based
in California.
PGT is a world-class
provider of X-ray Microanalysis systems, X-ray and Gamma-ray
detectors, and Nuclear instrumentation. "We are all very

PGT was founded
in 1965 by Drs. Joseph Baicker and Alden Sayres to produce
semiconductor radiation detectors of lithium-compensated germanium
for nuclear physics research laboratories. Since then, it
has become a world leader in the commercial development of
energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) systems, high resolution
digital imaging and analysis systems, and high performance
germanium photon detectors.
